Annina Wachter

Born in Innsbruck, she studied singing at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz, where she completed her Master’s degree with Katerina Beranova in 2020 with distinction. She has been a member of the ensemble at the Tyrolean Landestheater Innsbruck since the 2020/2021 season. There she sang, among others, Ännchen (»Der Freischütz«), Sophie (»Werther«), Lucia (»The Rape of Lucretia«), Der Kleine / Die junge Frau (»Der Goldene Drache«), Papagena (»Die Zauberflöte«), Yvette (»Die Passagierin«), Despina (»Così fan tutte«), Xenia (»Boris Godunow«) and Lakmé in the opera of the same name. The pupil of soprano Vera Schoenenberg is the winner of several competitions (including the Upper Austrian Operetta Competition 2019) and attended master classes with Karlheinz Hanser and Edita Gruberova. She has appeared as a guest at the Landestheater Linz, the Stadttheater Bad Hall and the Theater Regensburg. She made her first guest appearance at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz as Papagena in the 2022/2023 season.
