Andreas Partilla
Andreas Partilla studied orchestral conducting with Bruno Weil at Munich University of Theatre and Drama. In 2010 and 2011 he was awarded a bursary by Bayerischer Rundfunk to study at the Andechser Orff-Akademie of the Munich Radio Orchestra. From 2011 to 2013, he was Musical Assistant at the Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland at Weikersheim Castle and at the Carl Orff Festival in Andechs. As a conductor, he has directed orchestras including the Georgisches Kammerorchester Ingolstadt, the Bad Reichenhall Philharmonic Orchestra and the Munich Symphony Orchestra. He has attended masterclasses with Konstantia Gourzi (Munich) and Mark Gibson (Cincinnati, USA).
Since the 2014/2015 season he has been working as solo répétiteur at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz and since the 2019/2020 season as musical assistant of the chief conductor. At the Gärtnerplatztheater he was the musical leader of several musical galas, for which he also created the arrangements, as well as for the premieres of »Weiße Rose«, »Zirkus Furioso«, »The Medium«, »Nunsense«, the European premiere of »Tootsie« and the world premiere of »Rockin’ Rosie«. Further he conducted productions like »Jesus Christ Superstar«, »Momo«, »Wiener Blut«, »My Fair Lady«, »Viktoria und ihr Husar«, »Der tapfere Soldat«, »Priscilla – Queen of the Desert«, »Jesus Christ Superstar«, »Pumuckl«, »Hair«, »Anything Goes«, »Cinderella«, »On the Town«, »Drei Männer im Schnee«, »Im weißen Rössl« and »A Little Night Music«. 2014–2017 he was the musical director of the youth club of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz and created arrangements for productions like »De amore«, »It had to be you« and »#Lydia_theEND«. 2014–2018 he was further répétiteur and assistant at the Kammeroper München for the productions »Charley’s Tante«, »Kaspar Hauser«, »Welt auf dem Mond« and »Così fan tutte«.
