Andonis Foniadakis
Andonis Foniadakis completed his dance training at the National School of Dance in Athens and at the Rudra Béjart School in Lausanne. He graduated in 1994 and initially danced in pieces by Béjart and choreographed his own first works for the Béjart Ballet. After further engagement as a dancer at the Ballet de l'Opéra de Lyon, he founded his own dance company called »Apotosoma« in 2003. Since then, he has created his own choreographic works for Aterballetto, the Sydney Dance Company, the Geneva Ballet, the Benjamin Millepieds Dance Company, the Ballet de l'Opéra de Lyon and the National Dance Company of Wales, among others. His awards include the Danza e Danza Award for Best Choreography 2012.
