Anastasios-Tassos Sofroniou

German born, Paris based, Greek fashion entrepreneur, branding lecturer and costume designer Anastasios Sofroniou, kick started his career in fashion as a teenager while studying History of Fashion and Graphic Design. His diverse and rich career as a Fashion Director includes collaborations with photographers like Richard Alvedon, David La Chapelle and Mario Testino, publications like The Face, Surface, Interview US, British GQ, Sunday Times Style, Elle etc. In February 2010 he launched his own contemporary brand »Conquistador Menswear« and in 2012 he founded his creative and brand consulting agency »Mesvor Consulting Ltd« where he strategizes and consults various premium and contemporary fashion brands. In 2012, he began lecturing on Fashion Marketing, Fashion Communication, Consumer Behaviour, Social Media and Trend Forecasting courses, starting at Polimoda in Florence (Italy) and currently at ModArt and EIML Fashion and Luxury Marketing universities in Paris (France).

From 2011 his passion for costume design came to fruition with the introduction to acclaimed Greek born, Paris based choreographer Andonis Foniadakis. He has collaborated with acclaimed contemporary dance companies and numerous Operas such as Martha Graham Dance Company NY, Geneva Opera, Florence Opera, Sydney Dance Company, CCN Ballet De Laurenne, Rambert Dance London, Opera Ballet Vlaanderen and in the season 2023/24 in Munich at the Gärtnerplatztheater.
