Amelie Lambrichts
Amelie Lambrichts was born in Belgium and received her training at the Royal Ballet School in Antwerp. She was a finalist in the »Youth America Grand Prix« in New York and semi-finalist in the »Korea International Modern Dance Competition«. She also gained a BA in Contemporary Dance at the Codarts University in Rotterdam. Amelie Lambrichts started her professional career at the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam and at the Lucerne Theatre.
She first appeared on stage as a soloist at Theater Nordhausen in 2012 and took part in several gala performances throughout Germany. From 2015 she worked as a freelance dancer mainly in Belgium. Having already been contracted as a soloist in the ballet of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz Munich in 2016–2019, she dances, interrupted by a season at the Scapino Ballet Rotterdam, since June 2020 again in the ensemble of the Gärtnerplatztheater, where she interpreted the title role in »Undine – Ein Traumballett« in 2020/2021.
In the course of her career she has worked with choreographers such as Regina van Berkel, Iris Bouche, Martin Chaix, Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, Eyal Dadon, Gentian Doda, Nacho Duato, Jutta Ebnother, Andonis Foniadakis, Itzik Galili, Marco Goecke, Jochen Heckmann, Michael Keegan-Dolan, Jiří Kylián, Felix Landerer, Giorgio Mancini, Erna Ómarsdóttir, Iván Pérez, Karl Alfred Schreiner, Cayetano Soto, Lukáš Timulak, Jeroen Verbruggen, Ed Wubbe and Roberto Zappalà.
