Alexander Bambach
Alexander Bambach is an actor, musical theatre performer and filmmaker. He is currently studying for a master’s degree in musical theatre at the Fontys Academy of Music and Performing Arts in the Netherlands. He first appeared on stage at the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in 2017 in the operetta »Die Faschingsfee«. This was followed by roles such as Beppi in »Drei Männer im Schnee«, James in »Viktoria und ihr Husar« and Bartel in »Pumuckl«. He has also appeared in productions such as »Jesus Christ Superstar« and »My Fair Lady«. He also plays drums and guitar and appeared on stage in the musical »Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812« at the Landestheater Linz as part of the ensemble and as a roving guitarist. He performed in »Auf der Greifswalder Straße« at DasVinzenz in Munich and was seen both there and at the Stadttheater Landsberg in »Sarajevo ‒ Die Toten tanzen noch«. He played the title role in the world premiere of the musical »Siddhartha« (a.gon theatre). In addition to his work on stage, Alexander Bambach also devotes himself to film. After his training at Bavaria Film GmbH, he directed several scenic and documentary productions, including »Zwischenstation« (3sat) and »CheXpedition ‒ Verhindere einen Waldbrand« (ARD, ZDF, KiKA).
