Inka Albrecht

Inka Albrecht studied law at the Universities of Passau and Turku (Finland), specialising in international law. After her second state examination, which she passed in Munich, she initially worked at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and at Bayerische Rundfunk. She then moved to the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts, where she was most recently Head of the Office of the Amtschefbüro.

She has always been passionate about art and culture. Even during her studies, she worked at various music festivals and gained theatre experience as an extra at the Landestheater Niederbayern. She later focussed on orchestra management, gained a wide range of insights into international cultural management and was involved in the development of the Konzerthaus München project as part of her work at the ministry. In 2019, she became Head of Ballet Administration with responsibility for legal matters at the Bavarian State Opera and has been Managing Director of the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz since 2022.
